PUE ZUS is the first fully functioning eOffice in Poland, for which the Polish Social Insurance Office received the VECTOR award in 2012. By 2015, over one million entrepreneurs and individuals were registered on the platform. With the help of PUE, one can access many ZUS services remotely and conduct correspondence electronically.
Any ZUS client can use the service, provided that they are 18 years of age, registered on the site and have confirmed their identity.
To start using the system, users should first create an account on the pue.zus.pl website. After receiving a login, a password must be set. The next step is to confirm the identity of the registering petitioner, if they have a trusted profile on the ePUAP site or a qualified certificate they can do it electronically. Otherwise, they should report to a selected ZUS branch office in order to confirm their identity in person. Having a trusted profile on ePUAP significantly expands the possibilities for which the PUE can be used, because the individual's electronic signature can be authenticated on the ePUAP website.
Through the PUE ZUS website you can do the following without leaving your home:
Entrepreneurs employing up to 100 employees can additionally use the ePłatnik system free of charge. This system can be used to register new employees for social insurance, as well as fill out and submit settlement documents directly to the ZUS database.
In order to be able to send all documents and applications using the PUE system, you will require a trusted profile or electronic signature.
